My name is Giselle Bernard and I am the Community Leader for the Network In Action Uptown Group. We meet the second Wednesday of each month at the Palm Restaurant from 3:00 P.M. to 4:30 P.M.  Our group is not a territorial group.  We cater to the entire Houston market.  With my 25 years experience within the advertising industry; I've found that the best form of growing business is through word of month referrals.   I lead my group by example in providing the team with quality referrals by pulling from my contacts within the industry that I've  worked in for 12 years - Residential Home Building.   I've capitalized on my experience within the Residential Home Building Industry and hand picked an awesome group of business owners and professionals that wish to grow their business within the industry, as well as with the consumer. Some of our members  have books of business that also cross over into light commercial and multi-family.  Each team member has a book of business in which to pull from in regard to passing referrals and creating connections.  They work as a cohesive team, with each other as well as passing referrals.  In recruiting new members, I look for dynamic business owners and professionals who understand the value of networking and understand that word of mouth referrals are best way to build business. I pull from the Home Service Industry as well as the Home Building Industry.  We are a category exclusive group who all understand that to give is to receive.  Through research and experience, we understand that a referral coming from a warm lead is 76% more likely to close.
